Rebecca Aparicio, Producer

Rebecca Aparicio is an actor/director/writer. Along with The Dirty Blondes, Rebecca co-produced THE RESISTER PROJECT (a post-election response) in January 2017 featuring over 50 artists, 9 new plays, 12 solo artists, and 8 talkback panels. Along with composer Stephen Anthony Elkins, she has written PEDRO PAN THE MUSICAL featured in 2015 NYFringe Festival and commissioned by The TRUF Co. in 2014, SWEET TEA AND JESUS (Best Musical SASF 2010) and ACCEPTANCE (EAT’S Illuminating Artists Series/SASF 2009). She is also a co-producer/creator and director of the web series AWKWARDLY CHARMING and the short film HELMO. As a director, her work on RADICAL by Nelson Diaz-Marcano received the BEST PLAY AWARD 2016 in the Downtown Urban Arts Festival. Her directing work has been featured in the Midtown International Theatre Festival, the Short Play Lab Festival, Manhattan Repertory Theatre, among many more!
